Steve Woodard

Pastor Steve grew up in the Catholic Church until he turned 17 years old. Steve accepted Christ shorty after turning 17 and was baptized at a Bethany Baptist Church in 1971. After getting married and working various secular jobs, Steve was urged by the Spirit to either stand with the Lord or live in the world. In the mid- 1980’s Steve returned to church and committed to following the Lord. In the late 1980’s Steve started working with the Youth Group at a local area church and has been plugged into youth work ever since.

In 2007 Steve came to Lockmar Baptist Church and was immediately drawn by the love of the members. This persuaded him to join. Steve was shortly thereafter called by the Lord and the Church to serve as the Student Minister at Lockmar Baptist.

Steve graduated from Melbourne High School in 1970 with GDE diploma. He spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service and completed 18 months of different schools. In 1986 Steve graduated from BCC and UCF. Steve was ordained as a Minister in 2008.
